Atkins v.
Atkins,
611 So. 2d
570 (Fla. 1st DCA 1992).
The Escambia
County Circuit Court entered a dissolution of marriage judgment that
granted permanent alimony to the wife, but limited the amount to $750
per month.
Ms.
Lippincott represented the wife on appeal. The appellate court ruled
that the alimony amount was inadequate. The wife’s needs were
considerably greater and the husband had the ability to contribute much
more than the sum awarded. The judgment was reversed and remanded for
further proceedings to reconsider the entire judgment including
equitable distribution.
