 The owner of a tax deed issued on two Monroe County lots brought a quiet title action against the defendant who inherited these properties. The Monroe County Circuit Court issued judgment for the tax deed owner.

Ms. Lippincott represented the defendant beneficiary on appeal. The appellate court reversed the judgment finding that the tax deed was void for failure to strictly comply with the applicable statutes.
