Pettry v.
Pettry,
768 So. 2d
8 (Fla. 5th DCA 2000).
The former
wife moved to modify the dissolution judgment by converting her
rehabilitative alimony to permanent alimony. After trial but before
making a final order, the Seminole County Circuit Court ordered the
former husband to pay the sum of $1250 per month in alimony, despite the
fact the rehabilitation period had expired.
Ms. Lippincott
represented the husband on appeal. The appellate court ruled that the
evidence was insufficient to support conversion of rehabilitative
alimony to permanent alimony. The trial court judgment was reversed. See
the prior appeal leading to this new trial and judgment for the husband.
