Winn v.
Winn,
669 So. 2d
1155 (Fla. 5th DCA 1996).
The Brevard
County Circuit Court awarded the wife in this long-term marriage the sum
of $350 per month in permanent alimony despite the husband’s substantial
income as a Navy pilot.
Ms.
Lippincott represented the wife on appeal. The appellate court found the
sum of $350 per month in permanent alimony to be “woefully
inadequate” to meet the wife’s needs. Therefore, the appellate court
reversed and remanded the judgment with directions to award the wife an
amount for permanent alimony that was commensurate with her needs and
the husband’s ability to pay.
